Wheel Decide to practice expressing wishes and regrets

 Spin the wheel to select a category then make a sentence to express wishes and regrets for Present and Past.

Explanation

Regrets for present are expressed in English by a sentence starting with I wish... or If only... followed by a pronoun and a verb in the 

a verb in the PAST SIMPLE TENSE, for wishes and regrets about the present or 

- a verb in the PAST PERFECT, for for wishes and regrets about the past.

Examples:

REGRET ABOUT THE PRESENT 

I wish I were taller.

Note the the verb "to be" always takes the "were" form in expressing wishes and regrets.


REGRET ABOUT THE PAST 

If only I had done my homework last night. I wouldn't have received a bad mark.
